Around Danbury
Danbury is a village near Chelmsford, 35 miles from London.
It is situated on a hill, which at 365ft above sea level is the highest point in central Essex.
Considered to be one of the most attractive areas of Essex, Danbury has extensive views over the surrounding open countryside, much of which is protected National Trust common and woodland.
